you seem to be on track once again. congrats and i hope you get all the little bugs worked out. did you have to modify the transmission tunnel at all?

nope no tranny tunnel modifications as of right now, it IS rubbing very slightly on the passenger side but im in the process of fabricating a new transmission mount bracket to solve that problem.

A guy here in Buffalo got his R32 front clip in. He's putting the motor in his 89 240 SX. I know you said your's was for the 97/98s, but theres another skyline/240 for ya. I hope I helped you in some way.

EDIT: Its an rb20det

Looks good Kamin. You still running the 20 tranny?

Hopefully I will be joining the ranks this spring/summer. It will be an 91 though.

speeding hatch - the rb20 is a COMPLETLEY DIFFRENT swap, its easier than a sr20 swap. absolutley no fabrication required. and there are several rb swaps in the country but only a couple in 97/98's

nickwilmont - the florida people are ******* INSANE, there are more RB25 swaps in florida than the rest of the ******* country lol

Jeff C - yep used the 20 tranny, it worked great except a few bolts on the bottom of the bell housing needed to be replaced.

owen - man its been hell on earth waiting to finish, i cant wait to put some new tires on it and get it on a ******* road course! this sumbitch is gonna fly.

looks great. can't wait for u to get this running and get some more pics of it. my buddy has a 95 240 i keep trying to get him to do this swap oer the RB26dett because your swap is cheaper. i love the looks of the 97+240s. good luck with the rest of the swap.

no

if you use the stock skyline engine crossmember and the sklyine engine mounts, it bolts in with some small modification to the hood skeleton.
