Twin Turbo RWD V8 Civic
since I Never in 10 years documented any of my builds I figure id start off with this one. A 92 civic dx coupe, I alerady went 10.4@139mph with a B in it so this time I want to do something different. I still have my 700hp fwd hatch to play with. before I start, I just want to say, Im not really a crazy honda person, and don't think honda's are kings, nor do I droll over honda's and eat/sleep honda like most of you do, <<<no offense as "most" honda guys are. I JUST LIKE TO BUILD CARS, not just swap honda engine and d to b,h,k etc. American, import, whatever has speed I like. oh btw, I have a 1000rwhp car as well.
In this one, I am Putting a 1UZ into it, RWD converting it, solid 5 link, then twin 67mm turbos. Goal is 800'R'whp
ON COMPLETE STOCK ENGINE. ""OH MY GOSH CAN IT---YES, IT CAN HANDLE IT"" And under 2500lbs race trim. Before it was 1880lbs with b-turbo setup.
For those that don't know, it's a v8 out of the Toyota/Lexus sc400, ls400. this one is from the LS400. Although there is different between the two (small things) 4cam, 32valve non vvti.
It'll be power by AEM EMS, chevy Rear, A340E trans, twin 67mm's, ID2100cc.
today is the first day I started on it, so it's just cut and mock up, goal is to be up and running FULLY by next week. that is the goal.
As always, with this kind of things they'll always be lovers and then there's the haters. So let the love and hate chine on in........

motor is all bolted up, new engine cross-member made and transmission cross member made. is all bolt up, tomm will be rear end, then sunday will be front suspension. Plan to have this all done before the 20th of this month.

front cross-member half done
motor mounts bolted and sitting in by itself
and again
tunnel cut out and A340E installed, fit's really nice like it was meant to be RWD
Motor and trans fully all bolted down. hood closes like factory. WHAT V8??

DAY 3,
what a day, I am beat. NOT quite done with the rear but you get the picture, long day and working all by myself really makes is harder. anyways rear is mock up and on, need to make shocks and spring plates then the link and done. wasn't too hard, would of got this all done in a few hrs if I had some help, but anyways, here ya go. Enjoy
Gotta love the way the rear end setup sits, so perfect, seems as if it was made this way.

day 4, wow, finally got all of the VERY VERY hard parts DONE, no more big headache, the rest is smooth sailing for me here on. after 4 straight days of hard work ALL BY MYSELF, excluding day1 when my worker help me cut out the tunnel.
here is the rack linkage I had to make.
honda azz were meant to be sexy... 15x10's. no tub fit's nicely under the factory spot.
someone of you wanted to see these, this is mine which I never drive it, too many cars already, this car is b20Vtec 600hp 67mm AEM Ems.
this one is a 01 type R H22A powered, all motor.
this car is very dirty from just sitting, but this one is in the other room, 71 datsun 240Z 7mGTE Turbo. 500hp 2600lbs, and the one behind that is my 1000whp sc300 2jz powered.

haha tulsa ok...
You know, if only I have just on person with me to just hold here and there, OMG it would speed me up by half, half of the time I spend finding things to hold here and there and to using my whole body, legs and arms and hands to support things hahaha,

FIRST I'D LIKE TO SAY, ""I LOVE ALL YOU HATERS"", YOU ARE THE ONES THAT MAKES THIS PROJECT GET DONE FASTER AND FASTER, THE MORE YOU HATE, THE MORE MOTIVATED I GET. SO YAYYYY HATE AWAY, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.......
Today was a great day, even tho I did ALOT of driving around and doing stuff I still managed to get alot done. All links in the rear is finish, REAR END IS FINISHED. MOTOR SETUP is FINISHED, TRANNY SETUP FINISHED, all parts togeter, wiring installed. Drive shaft is mock up and will be done tomm, looks like this car will drive all motor wed because I don't have all my turbo stuff ready, and also i'll be leaving town Thursday so no more time to mess with it until I come back....
Im so happy, I have haters to support my going forward of this project, thanks to them this is happening, without them I wouldn't feel the need to keep going...thanks HATERS, KEEP UP THE HATING, LOVE YA......
