Transmission gearing? change final drive?

I have a j1 cable trans.
works good, but I live 3 1/2 hours away from home.
I don't really like windin the motor like it does when I actually do go home.
You can take 90-91 integra ls 5th gear and counter gear and swap the two into the j1 transmission.
Acura of America is totally out nationwide of these gears.
Does anyone aftermarket OEM style or performance make custom gears?
Andyone have one of these transmissions just sitting around?
It's not too hard of something to do, but you obviously need the two gears to make this work.

b/c right now @ 70mph I'm turning 4,000 rpm. 80=5k

I might have a mainshaft 5th gear. Trying to find out if I ordered the year or not for my 99 SI. Will let you know hopefully later today.
