i know, i know this has been covered to death but i did a search and came up with nothing and the archive search is disabled sooooo................

i want to do a 5sp. conversion in my 97 ls and i'm not too sure what i need, so far i know i will need:
- tranny (of course)
- pedals
- different axles (not sure)
- new radiator


also would it be better to wait for the tranny and do an engine/tranny swap at the same time (either from a GSR or a R -- probably a GSR cuz i'm sure i could find a complete set up for cheaper) and if i did buy a complete set up all i would need would be everything that was connected to the engine/trans + the ecu right? (making it so i didn't have to splice in the vtec selonoid)

all help would be appriciated (please don't flame just tring to make my car more fun)

you need a lot more stuff. You need shifter and shifter linkage, chutch master cyl., lines, slave cyl too. and a new trans mount to (i think). but search and you will find everything u need.

is there any shops that will put all of the extra parts together for me so i don't have to search around?

that way i can order the swap and a kit of extra needed parts and get to wrenching.

This should help you. Is if shops sell complete, I dont know. The best thing would be to get all the stuff off a wreaked car. Good Luck
