Tranny mount holes and bolts, ok if I use these bolts?
Hi guys,
I just got my mount kit in the mail for my CRX/B18C swap, and now I had a question about the bolts I'm gonna use to secure the tranny mount to the tranny. I had all my tranny mount, stiffener and rear mount bolts laying around. It just so happens that all these bolts have the same thread pitch, just different lengths and it looks like different strength ratings.
Anyways, I have the old HCP mount kit, and it looks like the front stiffener bolt (p/n 95701-12035-08) works fine for the front tranny mount hole, and the 2 rear mount mount bolts (p/n 90188-SF1-010) also worked fine for the 2 rear tranny mount holes.
I just wanted to make sure it was ok to use these bolts for the tranny mount . Like I said 2 of the bolts are used for the rear mount bracket, and 1 of them is for the front stiffener so I'm guessing they'll be strong enough. The stiffener bolt has a 10 on the head with a vertical line through the "0". And the two other bolts have a 10 with a dot underneath the "10" and a horizontal line over the "10". I dont know how to read strength ratings very well, but all I know is the higher the better, and grade 9-10 are supposed to be the strongest.
So what do you guys think?
Thanks
