Default Trade JDM B18C-R for USDM B18C1

I have a friend who currently has a 98 Spec R JDM motor. He wants to go GS-R turbo, so I threw out the idea of trading motors with some cash since I'm considering going N/A anyways.

My motor's from a 2000 and it has 56,000 on it. It's had no internal work, and neither has his. Leaving both motors stock. I'm not sure of the miles on his motor yet, but I'm sure it's more than mine. I was wondering what would be some resonable offers to negate the difference in price money wise. Meaning on top of the trade. I don't want to pay too much to close the price gap.

He mentioned it's going to need to have the rings replaced also. My motor's strong and needs nothing. It's from a fairly new Integra, and runs great. Never had any problems with it.

What you guys think? I'll find out the miles on his motor next time I speak to him.

EDIT: His has 55,000 on it, but that's all irrelevant now anyways. He only wants to trade the block. I'm probably going to sell my motor and use a little out of pocket money for the R motor. New question. Ideas on how much realistically I'd get for mine?
