i just recently dropped an h22 into my accord and tested it out on the highway. it stops me at 115-120. what can i do to make my car hit higher speeds?

Performance mods. And I'd take it to the track.

The ECU has a fuel cut off at 112 MPH or so.

Get a chip to eliminate the problem.

for some reason, some ecus are limited at 112mph, some at 115mph, and some at 117mph.....and even all the fuel cutoff's aren't the same...some are 7500rpm and some are at 7800rpm....but get the spoon spec program and it should remove the governor and help you out a little....

I'm pretty sure all of them are limited at the same speed.

The MPH, and the RPM.......most of those differences are going to be purely from speedometer/tach innaccuracy from car to car.

is there any thing else out there i can buy to cancel out the governor? how much would the spoon spec program go for and where can i find it?

ya after most possibly killing myself on I-85 one night coming back from atlanta i dont do much more than 90 ........ ***** stupid...... get a chip of some kind

get a usdm p13... I can go 150 in my accord with h22... and I go 145 in my 97 prelude... usdm dont have speed limiter

go to your local performance shop. they can reprogram your ecu for you if they offer that kind of service. many do. over here in so cal a shop called inline four does it for about 150$ you can try them. http://www.inlinefour.com

or you can pick up a pivot limiter which does the same for about 90-110 dollars...easy install..15 mins tops
