I've never seen a BAR legal tl-s swap before. Why is that? I just broke up with m y gf so now I have time to get a full time job so I can fix my car and move into an apartment closer to my school. Since I really do not want to swap just another dinky little y8 motor I am looking for something with more power. A lot or a little it doesn't matter. Since usually any other swaps cost just about the same (this one probably a little more) I was looking at the tl/cl-s swap as being the best bang for the buck. Can anyone give me some more info on the swap? I live in Cali so it has to be BAR'd. If it can't then I'll look into other options for it. Maybe an Si swap would be more in order but I'm more interested in the v6. I've read into what I need to buy for the swap and what needs to be done but I'm probably going to have Inlinefour out in the OC do all the work professionally.

Also I will be planning on doing a bit of Canyon runs and possibly some track times for fun.

I know what people are going to say finish school and then do the swap or just save it and buy another car etc I'm not interested in that and I don't mean that in a rude way. My engine and transmission are starting to feel like it's on it's last leg with oil leaks everywhere and I don't want to put any money into it. Thank you for reading!

Absolutely no canyon runs.. you dont practice road racing on the street.
If you want IL4 to do it then go talk to them and ask them if they can do a manual TL swap.

I didnt know having a gf would stop a person from gaining full time employment?
