Timing Belt-H22A/Civic
So I got my H22 into my civic with no problems. It ran good for two days. That is untill the timing belt desinagrated. After taking it apart you could definetly tell that it was rubbing on things and that is what caused it fray and then finally split. I noticed that all the pulleys and some brackets inside had oxidation on all of them, I can post pics if it would help figure out my problem. So any ways I got the new timing belt on and cranked the engine up with the top cover off so I could see the belt. almost immediately is has started sliping off again. Its not the auto tensioner cause believe me that ****** works fine when I am trying to compress it and keep it that way with a zip tie to install it. The whole are/bracket that the auto tensioner pushes on is brand new this time around also. Any help would be great. I am thinking it is kind of simple but I have not figured it out yet. Also when the engine gets up to roughly 3000 RPM the belt starts to woble around. Thank you in advance.

try tightening the tension before decompressing the auto tensioner. sounds like its still a little loose. any head or block milling done?
