to those w/ and h22 in their civic....
do u recall how much you payed for the swap entirely? im looking into this for a possible summer project... jdmh22 w/ tranny and lsd.. including the hasport mounts into a 92-95 dx coupe to be specific. I would like to see what people ended up paying for their swaps similar to this one.. ya know just get an idea of the labor charges people payed the shops in their area. Also, if anyone had any advice of things to buy along with it to make the swap run correctly and effiecently so I dont have to replace anything in the near future. Thanks in advance!

Well I have just started and payed 1100 for axles, jdm h22 w/trans.,an extra head and set of cams, 450 dsm injectors, I got cheap *** mounts with it, but I am getting some hasports,
I am also not sure that I really got that good of a deal. We will just say we get what we pay for sometimes, I dont get a guarantee that it will work.
And all of this is going in my 94' ex coupe

most of us do the swaps ourselves, cause you'll probably get raped on labor. My swap cost around $4500 too, putting it in myself.

jdm h22 w/lsd from hmotors: 2499
install (including mounts, axles, and everything else needed to drop it in and running): 1700
timing belt and water pump: can't remember. lol.
i would replace at least the water pump and timing belt while you have the car out of the car cuz it's so much easier (and cheaper if you are having a shop do it).
And doing your swap yourself is a great learning experience. After I paid to get my motor installed, I've helped a couple buddies do theirs. The first one is always scary, but after that, it ain't so bad.
