Default is there a way to check an ECU?

I have a 94 Civic with a B16A. I left the head lights on a few days ago and when I came out it was dead. The next day I had a friend jump me and it started. I let it sit for a few min to see if it would charge, and it kinda did. So I went into work and when I got off I again tried to start it an it just kinda clicked one time and now nothing......... So I went and got another friends car and tried to jump it and there was nothing at all. My dash light come on but my VAFC is off. I thought maybe the battery is just to dead to take a charge or maybe the main relay is bad now, well tried all that and still nothing........

Can the VAFC be bad or the ecu is burned out? If so is there a way to test it? Please if any of you can help, thanks

Maybe a bad starter. If you starter is frozen, it will just click and start draining the battery...

When you key "on" the car, before the start, doest the check engine light come on, then go off? If so, your probably probably is not within the ECU.

You can remove the starter, ground it, put power to the terminal then kick over the signal wire and see if it is kicking over....sometimes a car might push start and not jump start if the starter is bad.

After you replaced the battery, does everything until you start the car seem to be working okay?
