Default Thank God it started! Couple of small issues with B18c in EG

well, after F*@%ing around with AC and PS and not making any progress, I decided to test my skils and fire up my newly installed b18c

Plugged everything back up. Had to shift the harness around some for extra play. The 92 civic ex harness is a tight fit on the B series (or at least mine is)

oil - check
coolant - check
fuel lines - check
double check harness plugs
Hook up battery - check

Turn key in ignition - NOTHING
Oh, forgot to push in the clutch. Damn, no clutch pedal

Hook up slave cylinder.
Crank it... It's cranking!!!

press the gas pedal twice and crank again.........................

Man, an open 4-1 ITR header never sounded so good!! Let it run for a few minutes. checked fuel pressure and looked for leaks. No CEL. rock solid idle.

So the problems:
Engine is a 99 jdm ITR, car is a 92 civic EX

1) the Civic ac compressor wont bolt up to the P30 AC bracket I am using. I've read this works along with another, P54 maybe? But only 2 holes line up between the compressor and bracket

2) I am using the ITR PS pump, but the civic PS hose will not bolt up. I tried using the civic PS pump as well, but the tensioner was not right

Any insight into these problems??

It feels good doesn't it. When i installed my B16 into my Civic and all I had was a O2 CEL I felt so good. I was surprised by how much difference there was between my D16y8 and the b16a2. Congrats. As for the A/C I ended up using a Bseries A/C mount and compressor. All I had to do was change the lines. But it was an EK so I don't have any experience with an EG.

you cannot use the itr ps pump. its 96, you need a gsr 94-95 or us del sol vtec 94-97 or jdm eg6 92-95 . use the gsr belt too.
