Hell yeah dude thatll be nice. Do you mind if i ask you how much is the swap gonna run you all said and done???? People around here talk about that **** all the time and act like its so cheap and easy and all. Is that true at all??? Are you doing the swap yourself??? Also what harness are you gonna use?? Thanks for any info and good luck. Im sure you cant wait for that to be done.

well hopefully this bad boy will be running for around 4000$ with the purchase of the clip and shipping (3000$ shipped)

its NOT cheap and its NOT easy. there are several things that need to be fabricated for it. yes im doing the swap myself and untill last week i was going to do the wiring myself, but i came into a little extra money so im gonna be sending the wiring out to mckinney motorsports to have it wired for me.

the hardest part of this swap is actually finding an engine. there arent enough skylines that are wrecked and in good condition for swaps. mine was an automatic but i was given a flywheel, clutch, bolts, cover plate and transmission for free from the place i ordered my clip. ( http://www.venus-auto.com )

oh any questions anyone has feel free to ask, im by no means an expert but i know a little about the swap.

yea mckinney also uses their own mounts downpipe driveshaft etc etc etc etc.

if you use the skyline crossmember you can use the stock downpipe, have a hybris driveshaft made, use stock mounts.

What year motor is that? Im not familiar with Sklyines at all.

Do you need to convert OBD's at all? Because I remember worring about passing inspection and wherever you are from you cant have an older engine in a newer car and pass inspection.

Good Luck

well nissans are a little diffrent than honda, the EFI harness (what controls all engine components and sees all sensors) is completley removed when you take the engine out, so me converting to OBDI isnt gonna be a problem.

and for emissions, i will worry about that later. im probably gonna be registering the car somewhere where emissions testing isnt required.

good luck on the swap, I have a question, I am considering purchasing a 92 240sx for about 1700 bucks and was wondering what engine could I swap into it with the least amount of modifications.

Nice engine man. It only took months of bitching and moaning to finally get one though. Just let us all know when you're done with this beast.

hmmm, I was under the impression that with a R32 crossmember the motor would bolt right in. just have to cut some of the hood skeleton so the IM clears......RB20 is an easier swap as well....some people that did it said it was easier than putting an SR20 in. i didnt think there was any real fabrication involved except maybe a custom driveshaft for the rb25 tranny.....and of course wiring.
