Swaps for 88-91 Ludes
Search and no luck.
I just sold my EH and need a new ride. Found a 89 Prelude Si, 4ws, ya ya ya, etc. for cheap.
And as we all know B20A and B21A motors suck. So I'd like to toss it, before it gets a chance to break. This car only has 71k, but it's still a B20A5, so out it would go.
To clarify....is it true that these 3rd Gen Lude mounts are different that our B16/B18 mounts? I was once told you could only swap a non-VTEC motor into this chassis....being a B18A/B....for choice of a strong motor.
Any H22A kits out there? I can't find anything for Preludes online. A few H22A's for 90+ Accords, and thats about all I get with a search.
Really, any swap that is out there for this car would be great news to me.....B, D, F, or H.
Thanks guys.

Re: Swaps for 88-91 Ludes (D16Z6racing)
There are no direct swaps for the car, B18A/B, B20B/Z, B16A/B, B18C - none of those will work without fabrication. I've seen first gen B16 powered 88-91 Preludes as well as H22 powered ones but everything is custom. Place Racing was working on some type of B series mounts but I don't know if it was fact or fiction. In all, it's not a popular car for swapping so that's why there is little info to be found.
