swapping a h22 into my eg hatch soon...some ques....
ok, i am buying a eg hatch from a friend with no engine and decided to drop a h22 in it. i have seen jdm h22's for around $2000-$2400 with ecu, harness, transmission, etc....but i was wondering, is it ok to use usdm h22's? any particular year i would want? i figure i can get a usdm engine, tranny, wiring harness, and ecu for cheaper than that, and swap all that in.

Yeah man you can use any h22 you want. I'd use the h22a1 from a 92-95 prelude because its obd I. But of course Id go for a jdm h22a first. Prices between the jdm and usdm h22 arent too far apart from what Ive seen.
