Default Swapping b17 gsr into 90 CRX? 1/4 time?

what all do i need to do a complete swap from b17 gsr engine into a crx hf?? well it be a plug and play or do i need motor mounts?? and well the wires need to be re-routed?? has anyone done this swap and know the 1/4 time?

jdm zc is too old of an engine, and jdm b16's wont pass emissions. i was thinking bout swapping b17 gsr, hoping to pass emissions? what route should i go?

ive seen zc motors and b16a into crx's but only running low15's with zc and low 14's with b16's. what bout b17's!

Dropping a B17A engine into a rex is no different than dropping a B16A in. You'll still do the same routine as droppping a B16A in, meaning you'll need to get some kinda of bolt in kit + shift linkage kit (HASPORT plug).

You'll wanna get an 89-91 B16A ignition system (distributor, injectors, PR3 ecu) for a hassle free install....(b17a's are obd1-wire type equipped and will NOT plug n' play into your CRX's wiring/ignition system). You'll have to wire up the vtec components of course. You can reuse the B17A axle set if you get them with your motor otherwise you need 90-93 integra axles. You can reuse your CRX HF engine harness on the B17 engine if you get the 89-91 B16A ignition components i mentioned already.

.....since you want to pass emissions, you'll need to run the OBD1 smog equipment on your car, have fun doin that. I can't tech support ya there.

If you build up a B17A with high compression pistons, some decent camshafts, reprogrammed ecu, and some dyno time + some other misc. crap you can run a way good time in your crx.....low 13's perhaps. It's all up to you & your wallet tho.

Thanks for the advise katman! I'll ask more details with Larry Jr. at ImportAutoSalvage when i'm actually going to do the swap.

Big Shout outs to the FF Squad Crew from the East Coast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
