swapping a b16a2 into 98 EK coupe...
ok i bought a 99 si, wrecked. (going to part out the rest) but i have a compleat swap. now my question is.. whats all involved in the wiring? can i use my 98 ex harness, or should i use the 99 si harness? does some one have a write up on this kinda swap. i know it should be a straight forward kinda deal.. but i dont feel like screwing it up.. any and all help would be great.

Simply use the harness from the car you're putting the engine into.
If you try and bring that EM1 harness over to the EJ8, you'll have soooo many headaches.

^^^yup
easiest way to do it is going to be to use your current harness, and add in the vtec wiring. there won't be too many changes to the harness... i only changed 3 things on mine when i swapped to b18

Since you have an EX, it should be close to plug and play.
Reuse your harness, which is already wired for vtec and knock sensor.
Then purchase a obd2A-obd2B jumper harness and plug in the '00 si ECU.

The plugs for the OBD2a and OBD2b ECU's are different.

There are quite few places that sell them.
http://www.jdmshit.com and http://www.Rywire.com are a few.

Actually, for integras obd2A goes from '96-99.
Also, I've read that all JDM itr ecus are obd2A, no matter what year.
If you have the '99 si ecu, I'd just buy a jumper harness. They're cheaper than buying another ecu.
