Default Which swap for my EG

Hi, I've always wanted to do one, finally have the money to do it. Been combing through the forums nonstop. Couldn't find the same question I have. I got a 1992 Civic Si Hatchback and i'm trying to see what motor to swap in. I want it to be California legal, BARD, and I do not plan on doing any further power upgrades. Just use as my daily driver, never auto-x, just street. I'm thinking of going 1992-1996 JDM H22 with LSD tranny for $1900, but i'm worried that it would be hard to BAR, only because if I needed USDM parts for emissions, it is impossible to find USDM 1992-1996 Prelude VTECs. OR should I go 97+ preludes, with availiable donor cars on craigslist for like $1000+ and deal with OBDI to OBDII complications.

I was thinking of picking up a donor USDM GSR but I since i'm really not planning on further power upgrades, i'd really like to have ~200hp and the extra torque of the H22. Also thinking of biting the bullet and swapping in a JDM B18C but again I worry emissions parts from USDM B18C5 are hard to come by, and still have to deal with OBD conversion complications.

Any advice welcome, Thanks.
