Strret/Race Tires

Re: Strret/Race Tires (7rrivera7)
if you daily drive the car...you don't really want drag radial tires to mount on the wheels. Drag radials are meant to be mounte don a separate set of wheels, so that you could mount that at home the night before and drive to and from the track on them.....if you are driving the car every day ..to and from work....the drag radials will wear quickly. If you intend on doing that..go for it...but if you are looking for something that is a street tire, but will provide better traction, you may want to try Falken Azenis, BF Goodrich G-force TA KD's, Yokohama a520's, or even the newest Kumhos.....they all have fairly good rubber compounds that will give good stick and not die on you in a matter of months.

I run nitto drags daily, its kinda hard to parallel park w/o pwr steering but they last a while...usually buy a new set for the front every summer though. When you get to the point when you are switching out tires every three days or so (not just weekends) you figure you might as well just leave the damn things on and save your sanity. Nitto drags, are a good compromise street/strip but I've never tried any of the other drag radials out there.

ya drag radials arent for normal daily driving. unless you expect to go street racing like 5 times a week and you dont drive very far, it should be ok.
but other than that, save the drag radials when you are really street racing.
UPDATE: I have been consulting with M&H on their new DRAG tires for our applications. My suggestions were 205/50/r15 and 205/50R14 to start out with.
This tire will waste all those other tires out there. BFG cant compare to what M&H is going to do. These are gonna hook up so good! Theyre basically a racing slick but with grooves and stronger sidewall! hehe
Im building a street car just for this.
