Stock B20 VTEC which flywheel and clutch?

I have a stock B20B bottom end with a B16 head being mated to a Y1 cable tranny.
Can I use the B20 flywheel and clutch which is already on the bottom end or do I need to swap these for the B16 ones.

Im not bothered about the weight, buying an aftermarket or any reason other than if it will fit and work or not fit and work?

Yeah I just have the B16 one spare, but not point taking both off to swap if I dont have too.

All the folks I know that have done the B20VTEC seem to be using aftermarket's, but I dont want to go that route. Im sadly not in the USA where its all cheap https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif and there aint too many of these in Europe / England.

Not true. He's using a Y1 cable tranny which could be the 90-91 LS style input shaft. The 92+ use the B series clutch, pp, flywheel combos that's the same as the 94+ hydro type though. More than likely the 92+ style will work, just test fir the clutch disc on the tranny input shaft, if it fits you're good to go.

Im in the UK, so the tranny is from a EDM or JDM B16 from a 89-91 CRX VTEC.

Will check that out, its the obvious thing to do I guess, just wondering before I started moving my garage around and setting the gearbox on to the engine.
