Default step by step swap for someone who's not car savvy b18->4g civic si

ok, i'm guessing this forum has been through this topic time and time again, but i'd like to know if anyone knows of any places where i can find out how to do a b18a swap into my 1990 civic si. i've never done any big projects on my car so i'd like to have everything basically handfed to me. i'd like to do this myself...but i'm not confident enough to just go by what i've heard...i would also need this car as a daily driver asap....any help would be appreciated

b16a.honda-perf.org
All infomation exactly applies 'cept for the vtec wiring.

One thing tho, which year B18A do you have? 90-91 is no prob, 92-93 you'll need to change some things. Mainly the injectors and the distributor. All you'll need is the 90-91 B18A components. Honda changed computer styles between 91 and 92, so the changed injector and dizzy styles too. I've done two B18A swaps. One into a 91 DX(not easy at all), and another into an 88 CRX HF.

Hit me back

oh ok...i'll checc it out. i don't have a motor yet. but since you said that the 90-91 are different from 92-93, i'll prolly get a 90-91 then to simplify things

I have a more detailed swap guide on my site than the B16A resource, but Mr. Bauer leaves out a lot of steps that might screw ya up. For extra details check out my site... the 'meat' of the swap though is on Eric's resource. For wiring I'd recommend IMing RioNinja, he swapped a B18A into a CRX recently and he's a friendly, knowledgeable guy .
