starting problems, car battery dies when i crank it
I just swapped a d16z6 to get the car(97 gsr) on the road. Now heres what happens when I try to crank it. I dont get a cel blink like i would expect.. my del sol does it. When I turn the key to crank it, I hear one click, the lights go dead and I have to disconnect the battery to get the lights to come back on.
I do have an obd2a to obd1 converter on the car if that matters.
I'm thinking maybe i forgot a ground somewhere, which i just checked. There are only two ground spots I recall. One on the valve cover area and one where the wiring harness connects to the block. Maybe i'm missing one?
This gsr also has stock security system, but i dont see how that it would make even the head lights go out.
Any ideas would be great.
