Default Stage 1 dss axles minor vibration

I have a 92 eg with an h22a. I am using the prelude intermediate shaft, and is using hasport mounts. My car is also sitting at almost stock height. I reciently installed the DSS stage 1 axles and it got rid of all of my binding issues.

I am having a little vibration when accelerating in 2nd and very minor in 3rd gear. I is not that bad and I wan't to know if this will lead to any other problem down the line.

I know that most would say to return it back but I don't want to have to deal with shipping costs and instalation again. If this will not resolve in problems down the line then I will just have to live with a little vibration. It is very minor.

Can you narrow it down to which axle. Passenger or Drivers side?

Are you postive you installed them properly? Axle and lug nuts tighten down properly?

It is the driver-side axle and I watched while the shop installed it. It was installed properly. I want to know if this will have bad long-term effects.

then get a 90-93 teg axle for the drivers side and see if your problem goes away. if thats it then you can get it fixed and still have a spare to drive with
good luck with dss.

Lol, 90-93 teg axles would bind on every bump. I still have it as a spare. If all I have to do is live with a little shudder in second and even less in third I will glady take it.

I feared making right turns and I would just bind at high speeds for no reason. I am sitting at stock height and recomend that no one with my setup use 90-93 teg axles.

Thanks for the reply.

what car do you have the h22 in? my axles never bind and my car is slammed. (dont know how reliable they are though).

EDIT:just realized its a eg. or you can use prelude axles with teg outer joints. thats what i did on the passenger side because the axle was a tiny bit too short. works great so far.(knock on wood lol.)
