Default someone please help..b20/vtec..any ideas???

i swapped in 98 crv block with a 1st gen b16 head and intake manifold into my 95 gsr...i bought teh b20/vtec longblock and just reused things from my gsr..motor is now in and would start up but just isnt right...the engine idles funny..doesnt want to rev up as quick.. back fires and my fourth third and second spark plugs are wet with fuel and is very noticeable...i posted on a few message board and was told my problem was in vacuum and timing..i double check the timing when i installed a new timing belt before installing the motor and eerything there is fine...so that leaves me with the vaccuum..how do i come about checking that??...some peepz told me to just switch intake manifold and use my gsr throttle body..the way the 1st gen b16 manifold was built it would allow me to use my gsr throttle body on there..any kind of info would be great...

your problem is that the the first gen b16a's have a fast idel valve on the intake manifold and the 2/3gens dont use the same method so the car isdels like ****.
