SNEEK PEEKS: TECH43'S K24 EG4 VTi AKA "ktwizzle"
this is from drag racing, but I thought you swap guys might like to peep it out.
nothing too great yet, k24 motor is mocked up for header/exhaust fitment/radiator etc.
I was gonna do the mounts myself, but hasport's kit is nice, so I said forget it. this kit is not available yet, so please dont ask, and please dont call hasport asking for it either. be patient.
the motor going in soon: 2464cc, custom pistons, 11.5 to 1, ported k20a head, custom cams, aem ems/custom harness. just a motor to get it out there and running, hopefully it will make good power. i'm curious to see how long it will live with the 99mm stroke.
big thanks to eric valdes aka richie valens of street image for the killer shop use.
garbage
removing the trans bracket
the right way to remove it, no sawzall's you hacks!
awesome rear bracket
AWESOME clearance.
not awesome clearance, but nothing you can do. hood will get modified. i'd rather mod the hood, than have a low pan.

Everytime I see one of these it makes me wanna do it to mine. Christ I want that swap.
Save for the hood problem, those K's look rather at home in EG/EK chassis.
Great job.

When we did Fastbrakes EG we just took some of the hood structure out to get the hood to close. Of couse with a K20 that's not necessary.
