Default SMOG help 4 my swap

Hello! Im looking for some advice from someone more knowledgeable then myself about getting a hybrid to pass Smog in CA. Heres my situation: I own a 1993 Civic SI, and am planing on swaping in a b16a2 or b16a3 motor. I know that in Cali, a JDM motor wont pass the visual. So im prepared to spend big bux on the slightly milder USDM version. Heres my question: Which conversion should i do: 93 Integra GSR or the 94-95 Civic del sol VTEC? I believe my car is OBD1, so both of these motors would go in quit smoothly, but to pass smog which is better, AND what other hardware do i need to pass? Im planing to get the motor, tranny, mounts and axles. Do I also need the ECU and wire harness? My SI is equipped with VTEC already so im just wandering if the stock computer and harness would function. And anything else that i havent mentioned that i will need. Please feel free to correct or critisize me as needed. Thanx.
