SIR II B16 into Gen 2 GSR wiring
got the engine in and it fired up, no problems. Whenever you rev it semi-quickly, it spits and sputters. The tach was hopping all over once you reach 6k also. I replaced the ignitor and the coil still with no sucess. It was idling, then just died. Now I get no spark at all. Coil shows 12v and I traced the yellow/green ignition input signal wire back to the ECU and verified it is correctly hooked up. I also put the ECU in another car and it worked without any issues. Ideas?

yeah, I got that one solved and it was loose grounds and also a loose alternator cable. Got another one now. Idles fine, just when its loaded, its missing and backfiring. Does ok when under partial throttle and under a load. There is NO exhaust on the car at this time, just the header. I am pretty sure there are no vaccum leaks either. Ideas?

Is your timing right? you do a timing belt with the swap? right firing order? It sounds like a timing issue. If you do not have a timing light, put the dizzy all the clock-wise, then back off until you can see the opening for the hole (go a little after the see it).

Yeah. The timing is right on. Did not change the belt with the swap.
