I just completed a plateless F22 swap into a junker del sol, best fun you can have for a $500 swap. And by $500, I mean street price for everything you need to swap from a d-series.

the b20b4 i bought had heat tabs glued to the block/ one on the head. They melt if the engine overheats which voids the warranty. I found my engine on car-part.com and the milage was identical to one a highly known place was selling so i think i bought a engine that a employee there stole and sold to me. I found this out AFTER i bought it

Lol, no. It's an H2B/F2B that doesn't use an adapter plate. I bolts the block right to the transmission, and is held in plate with brackets & several 1/2" grade 8 bolts.

Has anyone successful swapped a f22b1 into a second gen integra. Can this swap be done and if so what would be best tranny to use the f or can u use the b some how...and do these engines like boost...
