si rear mount for b series...i dont get it...
well i got my "99-00 si" rear bracket to put a b18b into my ek coupe. the problem is that the top bolt that would go on the back of the block wont fit with the bracket. the bracket is not open to fit over the block and have the bolt go through it. i had a teg bracket, and it was open and looked like it woulda fit the block at least(maybe not the actual mount side), but i ditched it in favor of the si bracket which everyone said to get. im lost. do i not have an si bracket? its not the same as the d series. could it be off an auto? yea.....im lost

Yes you need a 99-00 si rear mount, I have the same car and the same motor and mine worked just fine.
here I even looked up the part number of my old reciept: 50827-S04-N10, Bracket, R. That should be it. Hope that helped, b/c I had motor mount issues with mine too...and it sucks.

nickw, i was reading one of you other posts... how far off was the exhaust from lining up perfectly? did you stock d series have the cat on the exhaust manifold or after it under the subframe where it is on most other cars?

mine was an EX, so the cat was under the car, not in the header. My exhaust job was a 5 min ghetto rig just to get the car on the road, but since then...hard driving, the bad roads and poor job we did caused it to mess up. For the first couple weeks, it sounded fine. I have been asking the exhaust question lately b/c I've got a new RS*R ex mag and I want to put it on right, so it sounds good and fits properly.
