Shops in So. Cal that finance swaps and parts????
Since im a poor college student, saving money and spending it all in one place would leave me BROKE... ive recently discovered that some audio shops will let you make payments (interest free) every month. I was wondering if there are any car shops in So. Cal that will let you do the same.. I would much rather finance a swap or car parts than have to pay all at once.. thanks in advance

I would think the credit rating of most import enthusiasts isnt that great yet and will have a high interest rate. The risk is too high.
Imagine that most buyers would be 18-28, which the majority being in the 18-23 y/o range, most dont have stable jobs yet, or have established enough credit.

Re: Shops in So. Cal that finance swaps and parts???? (IM ALL BOB)
I had a shop tell me they would have floated me the cash for a new set of rims and brakes. Of course this was after I had already dropped a bunch of cash in there shop.
I really don't want to name drop, because I only think this is a special thing the owner offers to his best customers.
If you get "buddy-buddy" with the owner of a shop that does swaps, you might have a chance.
Best of luck on the swap.

Get a credit card. Theres your financing. We'd do it, just you can't pick up the car till its paid off, plus after 15 days you get charged storage fees
(its a joke, i don't know any shops that would finance engines due to the high up front costs on the shop for the engine)
IMO if you can't afford the work on your car up front you shouldn't get the work done. Its not worth going in debt over. This is just personal opinion of course. Seeing as you have an EF, you can get a first gen B16 swap done for relatively cheap. It may cost around 2K total, but thats still pretty cheap compared to the other B series motors.
