Default Shift linkage too long ? JDM B16A in 92 Si

Alright, so I got my new engine in and one of the problems I'm having is the stabiliser rod (the part that holds the shifter by the pivot and bolts to the transmission) is too long. Someone from where I bought the engine wrote "SiR" on the linkage but I'm thinking he messed up. Are there any shift linkage that are longuer than the others? I thought they were all the same but now I'm confused.

Take it to a shop and have them cut and weld it to the correct length. Shouldn't be more than $20.00 and will be a quick job. It's probably an actual integra shift linkage that you got. It does depend on the mounts you have too. Ebay has some semi-cheap good shift linkage on there.

Check Hasport for guaranteed fitment linkage :

I can cut it and weld it myself. I just want to make sure I need to before I do anything. This linkage cost me 200$can and I don't want to scrap it.

My rubber mounts are the same that were on my D16Z6, hooked up to the JDM B16A engine/tranny brackets.

It's weird because the shifter is a Civic style shifter, it doesn't have the bend like an Integra one. I read in the archives that the Del Sol shift linkage is smaller, is that correct? Could it be that I need a Del Sol linkage in my 92 Civic hatchback?

Edit : Great, just found out the Del Sol linkage is actually longuer and that's what the seller sent me
