Default searching reliable ECU conversion harness brands

Hi,

I've been reading too many negative stories about ECU conversion harnesses breaking, engines issues, stuff not working properly, CEL's and more.

There's so much conflicting information regarding what brand you should buy or not, or lack of info on different companies websites regarding frabrication process or quality, used/refurbished vs new connectors, wiring quality, solders, pins length, handmade vs machined, and what else... it's mindblowing!

There seems to be a positive consensus towards harnesses made in the US VS China for quality, durability, fitment maters...but what about all of the other factors mentionned above?

At first glance Rywire and products from conversionharness seem like interesting options for an OBD2B to OBD2A harness, what about blueridge motorsports or others?

Granted that price is not an object here, what would you buy for overall quality, reliability, connectors fitment? as being able to plug and unplug the harness frequently without anything breaking is important to me.

Please share your experience and comments regarding components quality when suggesting a particular product.

Thanks!

I've got a Rywire jumper and Chipped ECU, never had a problem with any of it. About to get a Rywire harness and eliminate the Jumper. But as far as i've seen nothing wrong with Rywire. I got turned onto them from a buddy of mine when i was looking for a jumper and like i've said i havnt had any problems. i wouldn't go cheap on a jumper, i've seen alot of them come apart from ebay on other peoples builds.
