For those that are interested, I received my prototype today. They actually made a new version to accomodate my requirements. Even their distributors don't have it yet.
I will install it as soon as I get chance to make sure it works.

Yeah, so I never said beginning of this week, I said sometime this week, turns out it won't be this week. I talked to the manufacturer yesterday, they are being made now, but as mine are custom for this application, they still have to have a few parts handmade. So, he's rushing to get me as many as he can, as soon as he can. Expects to be shipping them to me middle of next week. I'll let everyone know as soon as he lets me know.

After driving around for a few months without any significant VSS signal, mine does not display my odometer/tripometer. It still registers 1 and 2mph at high speed, but nothing else.

No, there won't be any kinks. That's what all the delays were, since the manufacturer didn't want to sell something that could possibly have a problem.
