Default s2k (s-2000) with rsx 6 speed in a 88 crx

I have several s-2000 engines from putting a stripped s-2000, wrecked s-2000,
then got burned s-2000 for front end parts cheap. got one finished car.$7500.
Will the rsx tranny fit the sk2? or make adapter plate to match the two up.
can anyone tell me where I will run into real wall. I make all my own mounts
for b-18s into crx. I put engines back farther, easier for air and turbo.
I also hear from my honda dealer that a h-22 crank will fit with small amount of work, make a 2400cc out of early s-2000 engine.
any headers for sideways s-2000 front drive set up. I hear that there is 35 hp loss from screwing with the stock headers. much work gone into factory set up.
Give me hell, what did I miss.
I was told by dealer that some mag has article on this set up. Who is it? thanks

s2000 motor spins backwards compared to all other honda motors... if you used the rsx tranny.. you would have 6 gears in reverse..

there is data around that will help you use a h22 crank in a s2000 motor... Search around.. or call a engine builder..

I thought K series spin the correct way and that b/d/h/f all spun the wrong way. In terms of rotating it for RWD.

Wow, me engrish good...

First of all, the F20/22 in s2000's spin the same way as a k series - clockwise

second why the hell would you want to do this, just put a k series motor in your fwd car. Part out the S2K parts and you'll be able to build yourself a pretty nice reliable all motor k with higher output than a stock s2k F-series in both torque and hp. I can appreciate originality, but this project is just a waste of time.

Bottom line, unless you have tons of free money, tools, expertise and time just stick a k in their. You may not be at the top of the list for originality but I'm still playing with 90's motors so you'll still be ahead of me....

All K/F/B/H series motor spins counter-clockwise (CCW). Honda sure fooled all you guys that just by putting the engine on the passenger side/rear wheel drive doesn't mean that the motor have changed rotation. One good hint to tell if your 4 banger spins CW or CCW is the location of the intake manifold. Remember the 720 cycle have not been altered since the gasoline engine have been invented, which always was intake, compression, power, and exhaust. How you guys are thinking is exhuast, compression, power, and intake. Goodluck trying to get an engine to start up with that cycle.

Hey 'tard, your wrong. Your not as smart as you think you are. Do a little research next time so you do not sound so ignorant, because the K's do spin clockwise, as do the new R18's.

ive heard of using the h22 rods and pistons in an earlier model s2000 but never the whole crank. If you have any ap2 crankshafts laying around in good condition Id like one pm me. And yes the k series motor spins opposite of the b/d/h whoever the dumba ss is that thinks otherwise...honda sure fooled you.
