Re: s2k motor in a miata? (SOHCvtec92)
it's gonna cost a lot of money. why does he wants to put a s2000 on the miata? just build the miata engine, they are good. Someone posted here before a old toyota (like a 84-89) with a s2000 engine in it. Try to searh for it.

Personally, I think the motor in the Miata is already perfect for it. If anything I'd drop in a 13B

Re: s2k motor in a miata? (squirrel)
I agree. The Miata motor is already a good motor, and built for boost also. If you have enough money to spend on an F20C why not just build up the current motor with that money? The 13B swap would be a hassle because for wiring and other misc. vacuum lines, but man...the F20C would be a nightmare. If you really have the curiousity to do the F20C swap, give it a try. It'd be pretty swee to see. But I would still stick with the Miata motor and boost that. If anything the 13B would be pretty tight too....Good Luck finding a suitable answer and solution.
