Re: s2000 Cluster in My Ek (MrDark)
its not to hard, as it looks.
first off all u need a stock ek cluster and use the frame that bolts up to the factory wholes and u put the s2k cluster in it and glue around it, and then make a trim for the gaps around the s2k cluster either use CF, or use abs plastic, i used abs plastic then used a vinyl cf sticker cheaper that way. rest is wireing.

Re: s2000 Cluster in My Ek (djpepsi)
i kinda don't like seeing those clusters on Ek.. the cluster is sitting to straight, and you're looking at it directly at it. If you notice on the real s2000, the cluster sits at an angle slanted away from you. just looks kind of odd with the cluster sitting perfectly perpendicular like that.

no, there's like 4 plugs that come out of the s2k cluster and they all match up to different color wires depending on what car it's going into. some kid has an ap1 chart up to an eg, ek and ef i believe maybe a dc, but not sure. it doesn't really look that hard. looks like mounting it cleanly is the hardest part, it's been around long enough now that people figured out all the hard **** and you can just pay to make it work. as soon as i get my eg, im gettin an ap2 cause they're teh hawtness

here's the wiring schematics:
http://www.dscustoms.com/s2kpages/wiring.htm
the AEM ECT is AEM's engine coolant temperature converter i believe. i think a lot of AEM EMS users have it to convert their temp gauge for datalogging and such. someone correct me if i'm wrong.
just about all details about installing an s2k cluster can be found on this page: http://www.dscustoms.com/

i did the exact same thing, i used my ek plastic border outta my ek cluseter and put my s2k cluster in it, and tried to mount the holes on the ek border and my s2k cluster would hit the back of the huge plastic heater/air vent... so im wundering how u managed to fit it together. if u didnt mount the s2k cluster but mounted the Ek plastic border,,? if that makes sence at all..

Re: s2000 Cluster in My Ek (djpepsi)
looks good! now just get a nice steering wheel (s2k steering wheel possibly) to compliment the new cluster. btw i have the same air fresherner, when new the scent is too damn strong and hurts my nose
