so i finished dropping a b17 with a hydro ls tranny into a 93 del sol si. the computer is a chipped p28, so no knock sensor. there was limited wiring to do, since the previous car was a sohc vtec, and as far as i can tell all vacuum lines are run correctly. there is ONE green sensor/plug/whatever in the back of the motor, near the knock sensor, which i do not seem to have a corresponding plug for (however several will fit since it is the round plug which several sensors use). i also can't find mention of this yet to be named plug in my manual. anyhow, i start the car, it rumbles, surges to 3500 rpm and idles here. there is no engine code. if i apply any pedal, the engine stumbles and wot position will kill it. after checking all connectors and vacuum lines, making sure the throttle cable was ok, and giving a hard look at the one thing i didn't manage to connect, i reset the ecu by pulling out the fuse. i try it again, and this time the engine revs past 3500 and tries to fly away. i get nervous and kill it when it goes past 5000, but any throttle will still nearly kill it, and there is still no cel. everything looks in the right spot, the engine purrs nicely anyway, and i'm reluctant to start ripping up sensors and hoses before i get more feedback. any ideas? thanks.
