rsx motor swap into 6th gen civic (area 51)
anyone hear anymore news on this project? has anyone heard of it working or if any companies are making special mounts for this type of swap? did a search, couldnt find anything...

I believe they were able to get everything working. They had to make custom mounts and some other custom work to make it fit. You can either call them or IM them some of the members on this board work for area 51.

http://www.hybridgarage.com already did the swap (1st to do everything)

so the rsx that puts out 200hp....why not just throw an h22 in for a fraction of the price and headeache....creativity 10! challange 10! alot of time and money....****...

I`m sure HASport will have mounts available shortly.
Why use the K-series? It`s a kickass platform to build upon.

Hybrid garage put an RSX motor into the NEW SI which already has the same basic motor. Not all that impressive.
Area51 put the RSX(actually a JDM DC5 R motor) engine into a EK hatch. Much more impressive.

Prelude motors blow!
Charles did it because he wanted to be the first.
What hasport did is a bolt in.
I did the k20 swap into the 2001 ex it is not a bolt in.
