rpm jumps

i have 92 civic with a jdm h22 motor that i just swapped in it and the rpms keep moving from around 400 to 2000rpm and if i step on the gas the car shuts off can someone help me

sounds like you have a distributor problem

Check your grounds; on the thermo stat, valve cover and tranny.
