Default RHD wiring harness. Can it be used????

Is the RHD wiring harness the same as a usdm other than the fact that its completely opposite. So can you use it if you lengthen some of the wires. Just got a 00 b18c spec-r complete swap. I have a 1995 honda civic ex. I have a very creative mechanic. Do you think the wiring harness can be used. I'm not worried about it being time consuming or if the wires need to be lengthed, because they are going to do all that. I just want to make sure when they length all the wires that need to be that everything is still wired correctely and motor will start. I have a P73 to run it and going to use a jumper harness from joe at hasport. Will I have check engine code problems?? peace

You can extend all the wires, but the easier way is to use your stock harness and just wire up the knock sensor to D3, and wire up the IAB's. I believe you will need to switch A17 and A20. If needed, rewire and extend the O2 sensor as well.

Nope. It COULD be possible, but you will need to extend wires.

I'd recommend grabbing yourself a 99-00 Si or US ITR harness.

They will clip right into the shock tower main harness.

The only thing you will need to wire up is the knock sensor to D3. I'd also recommend you stick with OBD1 since your car is OBD1.

Grab a chipped P28 and you're good to go.

HTH.
