Rewiring CKF
I cut the CKF plug off my 96 d16y8 engine and wired it onto my 99 b16a2, but the damned CKF is still not doing anything. Blue to blue, white to white, and I left the ground open. Still getting DTC 54 http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthdown.gif
what's the problem http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emcrook.gif http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/mad.gif EDIT: I'm using an OBD2 P30 96-7 Del Sol Vtec ECU [Modified by madtownhonda, 7:58 PM 10/5/2002] |

obd2 ecu's need to be cleared out using a obd scanner.

Re: Rewiring CKF (stehigs321)
holy old post!
anyways...just pull the fuse for the ecu in the underhood fuse box for 30 seconds and it will go away provided you wired it correctly. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif |
Re: Rewiring CKF (madtownhonda)
I dont know if i wired it correctly. What color are the wires that go to the CKF sensor on an engine harness for a 96 civic EX?? I have 3 wires and one i dont use. WHat are the wire colors so i can find them. then make sure i wire them.

Any help?

Re: Rewiring CKF (stehigs321)
They should be blue, white, and black. Just match them up and tape off the black one.
