Replacment D series?
I scattered my d16y7 in my 98 Hatch the other night, so I need to look into getting a new motor. I was planning on ordering a d15b from Hmotorsonline, but what potential issues might I run into swapping in that older motor (OBD1), into my newer car (OBD2a). Legality isn't really an issue (I live in Kentucky, the police are happy I have a muffler). I know I need the d15b ECU, I'd order that with the motor. But how complicated are we talking about with the wiring? Can I just buy a jumper harness and reuse my car's stock harness and sensors? Mechanically it should bolt straight in? This is my daily driver, so I really need to just get it up and running ASAP, but I'm having trouble finding a decent condition OBD2 motor locally.
On a semi-related note, I did find a d16y8 with 131k on it located about 3 hours from me, is it worth the extra miles (and about 200 bucks less) to just have a motor that is gonna bolt in and just need VTEC wires run?

Re: Replacment D series? (AErrorist)
i have a d15b motor i'm selling with only 75000 kms and i have the harness the ecu(p28) and anything else you need for it. I'm willing to let it go pretty cheap cause i'm buying a B18C GSR and just want to get rid of it i only drove it for like 5000 kms and then took it out of the civic which i scrapped for pieces. I have pics if you want to see email me, give me a price and we can negotiate.
