Removing charcoal canister/EVAP solinoid
 

Does anyone have a write up on how to correctly remove the charcoal canister and vent the gas? My swap came with a fucked up evap solinoid so I'm just guna remove it all anyways. car is a 00 civic if it matters...

What all do I or can I remove?

i swaped to a ls and just didnt reuse the evao solenoid since it was broken. i disconnected the can and i vent to the atmosphere. it wont hurt anything other than losing a lil gas while the car is just sitting.

how did you vent it?

Could I just leave it alone then how it is in the pictures? and just plug the vaccum ports on IM?

ill try and get some pics for u tonight when i get home. i havent messed with the evap stuff since last year.
