relocating my dowel pins...
yes im dioing lsvtec and i know all about the reloacting and stuff.. my problem is that i ordered ITR dowel pins. now i dont need to make the stock holes on the head of my ITR bigger cuz these are perfect fit, but the prob is that i might need to make the holes a tad bit bigger on the block.. well at least i think i do, i went in there and just did some testing the ITR pins MIGHT fit if i lightly tap them down.. now the thing is arent the LS pins bigger?? so wats going on here? i have ARP studs on the head.

What??? They all should be the same size... When i do LSVTEC's i don't normally drill out the dowel pin holes in the block, i do them in the head... I don't know what is up with that... Let us know what happens... Good luck.

Re: relocating my dowel pins... (JDMspecEG6)
i got ITR dowl pins... so they fit perfectly in the ITR head (at the stock dowel pin locations) without any redrilling.... so as long as there is a hole in the headgasket i can put a dowel pin there.. i guess its confusing.. but ill get it.

LS/GSR/ITR pins are all the same size.
You have to enlarge certain holes in the vtec head to fit the pins. The existing holes in the head that are large enought to fit the pins are not in the proper location to be used with a non-vtec block.
http://www.c-speedracing.com is a good resource for building and lsvtec.

Re: relocating my dowel pins... (SLPR)
Check this out. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=324342 I'd go with this since there is no drilling involved.
