Rear Teg Mount doesn't line up???
Here is the deal. I have a LS/vtec in my 93 hatchback. I have a 95 GSR hydro tranny. I'm Using the Stock rear mount w/ 94+ teg bracket and it doesn't line up to the holes on the transmission. Only 1 hole lines up. The other hole is way off. I was wondering why it doesn't work???

If it's tranny bracket for a manual tranny '94-up teg it will work.
I think you've got the wrong bracket.

Re: Rear Teg Mount doesn't line up??? (Slopoke)
I actually bought 2 94+ teg brackets.. thinking that maybe one of them was the wrong one.. but when i got the second bracket it was the same one as the first one.. What are the possiblities that i bought 2 teg brackets from 2 different people saying there 94+ teg brackets and then they don't fit. I'm so confused.

looks right to me, too.
Is the motor in or out of the car?
Sometimes while trying to hook the bracket up, it can be a b*tch to get the holes to line up.
Is it possible that this is the reason why you cant get the holes to line up?
I ususally have the upper tranny mount and driverside mount on(but not all the way tight) and then loosely thread the bolt that attatches the rear tranny bracket to the rear mount.
Then, from underneat, I push up on the back of the motor, and it allows the holes to line up.

the motor is out.. and the mount doesn't line up with the holes at all.. Either one hole or the other. Impossible for them both to be bolted on.

sounds like you have a rear bracket from an automatic teggie tranny. Make sure it's for a 5 spd.

you have to twist the engine to get the other holes to line up!!!
try that....and i believe auto and 5 speed brackets are the same
