Default Re-torque on cylinder head

Does the cylinder head need to be re-torqued after break-in? This answer would probably solve my problem of blowing white smoke in the next post.

I don't want to go through all the trouble if it's not necessary.

I would at 250,500, and 1,000 miles.

I would at 2,500, and 1,000 miles.


Same with header bolts/studs, they sometimes like to ease out after install.
