You can use the GSR radiator hose even thought it's too big for the Civic radiator?

You can upgrade to an aluminum radiator, or just use hose clamps and tighten the end on the radiator down really tight. You could also check the size on the 99-00 Si hoses, but I'm not sure if the Si radiator had larger in/outs than the other 96-00 Civics or not.

Yeah, it does. It's the same as the gsr hoses.

Si has larger hoses than other model civics. I have Si hoses and fluidyne on my b18c.

I'll probably get flamed for saying it or people will say it's ghetto, but honestly don't knock it until you try it. You can actually reuse the D series upper and lower radiator hoses. Depending on the engine you install you will usually need to trim the hoses to fit. I used this as a short-cut method one time on a friend's swap but now I reuse the D series hoses nearly all the time. You just need to take a heatgun and heat up the end of the hose on the engine side. Use some WD-40 or oil on the water neck on the motor and they should slide right on without much trouble. This prevents the typical B series hose to SOHC radiator leaks and what not.

Doesnt that weaken the hose? I wouldnt take a chance like that since it carries 210 degree coolant around

thats exactly what i did and have absolutely NO problems. you just gotta make sure the clamp is tight as hell. i think this is the easiest and cheapest way to fix the issue

I'm pretty sure that's what Raceline did on my car too. No problems on my end.

Of course eventually I'll look into getting a Koyo radiator or something.
