Default AN-R Header!

Hey guys,

I searched and wasn't able to come with any results. anyways, does anyone have any experience with the an-r compact header? Pros and Cons? Fitment Issues? What were your HP gains? Do you run this header open or bolted up?

I am interested in this header for my b18c in my crx.

Thanks.

Edit: Pic for reference.

Im currently running this header on my 11.6-1 comp b16a with pro1 cams, excellent header, big gains over stock, and my old jg/edelbrock pro flow header. Make sure you get it tuned, or you will run lean just bolting it up.

they make good power but they tend to crack welds easily.

RMF is also an option.

for everyone out there running this header, do you run this header open header, or is bolted up to a cat or an exhaust system. thanks for all the help.

I had the compact An-r header with street collector two years ago. Made 191/130 with skunk2 stage 1 cams on a stock bottom end ITR motor. Had to cut my stock crossmember a bit, but not too bad. They had problems with the old ones cracking, but that problem has been taken care of. I ran mine through a 2.5" exhaust.

the an-r header does not come with a flang to connect it to an exhaust. You will have to get one welded on. The exhaust was custom. There is definitely some custom lenght adjusting that must be done to an exhaust to make it work.
