one last quick question... do you feel that this engine in my Ls would be a bad idea.... ? when searching for these pervious questions. I stumbled across other Blogs suggesting to others that the weight ratio of the integra would not only decrease the performance of the B16A sir II but rather be slower then the adverage engine.

I dont see how this would be slower then a b18b1 ,but i am up for anyones suggestions... I may just stick to swaping for a GSR motor.

you have been a great deal of help with reasponding back

thanks

B16A II is not that powerful and in a civic it's well, BIG LACK OF TORQUE,

Now imagine in an integ. The only reason you should buy a b16 swap is to make a lsvtec or b20 vtec IMO.

This doesnt make sense! buy a b16 swap and ditch the block? waste of money...just buy a head and tranny and do lsvtec or b20vtec.

Yea a b16 in a teg doesnt make that much sense unless you're going to turbo it. The 2-3k your going to spend for a b16 swap from HMO, just spend that and build an lsvtec. a head and tranny (Ls trannys gearin suck for vtec) are like $500 each and some little bolts ons will get you around the same you were going to spend before.
