Default Quick: D16A6 (4th gen) into 5th gen

My younger bro blew his motor - D15B7 in his 92 civic.

I have a D16A6 (OBDO) 91 Si motor that i can pop in for him (just motro obviously cause the tranny is cable). Are thre any issues putting this OBD0 motor in a OBD1 car? I can use his existing OBD1 dizzy and intake mnaifold with all the OBD1 sensors.

Can some one tell me if this is a direct bolt in plug and play so i can get this under way ASAP. Or if there are some issues I would have to resolve?

Help please.

thanks guy's

Default Re: Quick: D16A6 (4th gen) into 5th gen (Hybrid)

ok i am doing this now and the only problem that i have run into is the Dizzy the OBD1 dizzy will not work i am going to get an OBD0 casing tomarrow and swap guts hopefully that will work. other than that there has been no prob with the sensors and whatnot. The only reason i am doing this is because my CX motor spun a bearing (DAMN THING just bought it 2 weeks ago) and i want a lil more power than the 8 valve. also got an Si tranny to hook up to it a lot better than the Cx trans. I'l post some pics if you need anything else lemme know.
